DTC bus runs over boy

A 12-year-old boy was run over by a speeding Delhi Transport Corporation bus in New Ashok Nagar area, East Delhi,on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred around 12.30 pm,while the victim,Rahul,was walking to his school after visiting his father’s wheat flour mill in Kondli. Rahul was rushed to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital,where he was declared dead on arrival. The bus driver,Rampal (35),was arrested for causing death due to rash and negligent driving.
