Driver hits biker,flees barefoot

A man,driving his Honda Accord in an inebriated condition,first hit a biker in Chanakyapuri area around 10.30 pm on Wednesday and then fled with deflated tyres and rammed his car against the wall of a house in Janpath.

Police officials said the accused,Varun Sikka (32) and his girlfriend were arrested from India Gate. They had fled,barefoot after the crash.

A case of rash and negligent driving and driving under the influence of alcohol has been lodged against Sikka.
