Mumbai-based jewellery designer Purva Kothari,38,unveiled her jewellery line Intrea at the Taj Mahal Hotel to an illustrious audience who made time to view the glittering diamond collection on display.

Mumbai-based jewellery designer Purva Kothari,38, unveiled her jewellery line Intrea at the Taj Mahal Hotel to an illustrious audience who made time to view the glittering diamond collection on display. Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah,Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde,Videocon proprietor Venugopal Dhoot and MP Mohammed Azharuddin admired the 200 pieces of contemporary chandelier earrings,a range for brides,and cufflinks for men from Kothari’s new line. “Each piece of the collection has been designed keeping in mind contemporary trends and retaining the aesthetic flavour of traditional Indian design as well. This time I have also used a lot of gold,” says Kothari who has clients like Kareena Kapoor. Prices begin at Rs 50,000.
