Owners of flats at the Commonwealth Games Village are likely to get possession of their flats within the next one month,said a senior DDA official.

Extra flats torn down,ok to Village likely

New Delhi: Owners of flats at the Commonwealth Games Village are likely to get possession of their flats within the next one month,said a senior DDA official. Last week,developer Emaar-MGF informed DDA it had demolished 17 flats in the Village to resolve the dispute with the agency. The DDA will likely hand over the Village flats to the owners once they are repaired by Emaar-MGF. The entire process is likely to take a month.

Maintenance of PWD road lamps with discoms

New Delhi: The Delhi Government on Tuesday directed the PWD to hand over maintenance of all street lamps on its roads to power distribution companies. The decision was taken at a meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday and will come into effect from July 1. The discoms are already handling the maintenance of street lights on most Delhi streets.
