Century by Nikhil Gangta (100) and back-to-back five wicket haul by Gurvinder Singh (5/28) and all-round performance by Rishi Dhawan (56 and 2/36) enabled Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association beat Telefunken by 84 runs to enter the quarterfinal of the 21st All-India Om Nath Sood Memorial cricket tournament being played at RSKP,Pitampura.

Shavej scores double ton

Shavej Khan hit a monumental 210 runs (18×4,16×6) helping Rajnigandha pile up 372 against Delhi Blues in their allotted 40 overs and then took 3 wickets for 56 runs to keep Delhi Blues to 333 runs in reply. Shavej’s knock came off 103 balls and he was aided by Kartik Abi (54). For Delhi Blues Amit Verma scored 133 runs but his knock was in vain as Rajnigandha won by 39 runs.
