Manipuri woman files complaint of molestation
The Vasant Vihar police registered a case of molestation on a complaint made by a 22-year-old woman from Manipur. The victim,a student,was allegedly molested in Munirka on Thursday evening. The victim told the police she was on way to a grocery shop when she met her teacher and started talking to her. “We were talking near a beauty parlour. The son of the parlour owner came and intentionally pushed me,in an attempt to touch me. There was a lot of space and it was clear that he collided with me deliberately,” the victim said. She alleged that on being confronted,the man kicked her in the eye and threatened her with an iron rod. She then called her friends and later the police. No arrest has been made so far.

Goods train catches fire,train services hit
Ghaziabad: A goods train caught fire at Bukadhi railway station near Dadri town in Gautam Budh Nagar district on Thursday morning,the police said. Train services were hit between Ghaziabad and Maripat stations due to the fire,which took about three hours to control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
