DTC passes valid in cluster buses
NEW DELHI: DTC passes can be used for travelling in orange non-AC buses plying on South Delhi routes from Monday. Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely had earlier said that DTC bus passes will not be accepted in cluster buses for the next one month,and smart cards will be issued later. However,the decision was reconsidered after DTC bus pass holders protested,refusing to pay for tickets on the orange buses,on Friday and Saturday.

GURGAON: The countrys first legal clinic was inaugurated at Firojpur Namak village,Mewat,on Saturday. National Legal Services Authority executive chairman and Supreme Court judge Justice Altamas Kabir and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda were present on the occasion.
2 held for ex-Defence officials murder
NEW DELHI: A driver and a teenaged domestic help have been arrested for allegedly killing a retired Ministry of Defence official in Patel Nagar,Central Delhi,earlier this week. Police said while the driver needed money to build his house,the domestic help had allegedly joined him because he was snubbed by the victim,Om Prakash Sharma,on several occasions. Police arrested the driver,Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary (34),and the domestic help from a lodge at Darbhanga,Bihar,and recovered Rs 2.8 lakh and two laptops from them.
Man,sons held for killing youth
NEW DELHI: A Vasant Kunj-based man,Bacchu Prasad,and his two sons have been arrested for allegedly murdering a youth who was in a relationship with Prasads daughter,police said. The sons have been identified as Laxman Kumar (22) and Pintu Kumar (19), said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South ) Chhaya Sharma. On May 5,police found the naked body of a youth,identified as Pradeep Paswan (20),at an old mine in Rajokri. The victims brother,Dalip Paswan,had expressed the suspicion that Prasad may have been involved in the crime.
