Gurgaon polls: Cong won’t use party symbol
The Congress has decided not to use the party symbol while contesting the elections to the Gurgaon Municipal Corporation. Announcing this,Congress party president Phool Chand Mullana said that a coordination committee will finalise the candidates for the elections,and also devise a strategy in this regard.

High Court bids adieu to two judges
The Delhi High Court on Friday bid farewell to two of its judges. While Justice S L Bhayana is retiring in the coming week,Justice M C Garg is being transferred to the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Justice Bhayana had made headlines as a trial court judge when he acquitted all the nine persons allegedly involved in the Jessica Lall murder for want of evidence. In a full court reference,the two judges were granted a joint farewell by the High Court bar and bench,which praised their contribution to the judiciary.

Delhi airport T-3 gets ACI award
The Terminal 3 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport received the prestigious ‘ACI Director General’s Recognition Award’,at a ceremony organised by the Airports Council International (ACI). Angela Gittens,Director General,ACI World, presented the award to Kiran Kumar Grandhi,chairman,airport sector,GMR Group. The award ceremony was a part of the sixth ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly,Conference & Exhibition,held between April 5 and 8.
