Cash,jewellery stolen from Apollo employees house
New Delhi: Unidentified burglars barged into the house of an employee of Apollo Hospital,Gurgaon,and decamped with cash and jewellery worth lakhs in Northwest Delhi. The incident was reported from Keshavpuram on Tuesday evening when victim Ajay Chaudhry (35) returned home after a visit to Haryana to meet his in-laws. They found the lock of the main door broken. The entire house was ransacked and Rs 70,000 in cash,gold and silver jewellery kept inside an almirah were missing, said a police official.
Thieves make off with Rs 8 lakh in West Delhi
New Delhi: A relation manager working with Kotak Mahindra was robbed of Rs 8 lakh,when unidentified thieves struck at his house in West Delhis Janakpuri. According to the police,the wife of the complainant was sleeping with her child in her bedroom when the incident occurred. Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) V Renganathan identified the relation manager as Bhupinder Singh and his wife as Paramjeet Kaur. Paramjeet and her nine-month-old child were sleeping in the bedroom when their domestic help went out to buy milk using the back door of the house. She had left the door open and it seems that the thieves entered the house then, said the DCP.
