Check-in service resumes at New Delhi Metro station

Currently,only Air India and Jet Airways will provide the check-in service. However,Airport Metro officials have stated that talks are on with other airlines to set up their check-in facility.

“Jet Airways and Air India international passengers — for now only to the Gulf — can avail this facility at the New Delhi Metro station,” a spokesperson said. While the Airport Express Line is connected directly to Terminal-3,passengers arriving at or boarding flights from Terminal-1 can avail the service from the Aerocity Metro station,he said.

A statement from the Airport Metro read: “The check-in facility will be beneficial for domestic and international airline passengers,who can handover their luggage well in advance and utilise their time better. This will be helpful for upcountry passengers — from states like Uttar Pradesh,Haryana,Punjab and Rajasthan — who wish to catch international flights.”
