Participant Salman is drawing a lot of eyeballs on Dance India Dance,but for the wrong reasons. Hes been rushed to the nearest hospital for the third consecutive week. Last week he burned a part of his face while performing his dance routine which involved fire. This week,the judges and Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty were shocked to see a trail of blood on the stage. This was caused by an injured toe that had been neglected for long. When asked,guru Remo responded saying,My rehearsal hall has a low ceiling. I had asked every one of these kids to not do any stunts. Salman,however,did a cartwheel. His toe hit the fan and the next thing we saw was Salman lying in a pool of blood with a slashed toe. And this weeks performance has Salman do the famous Marathi folk malkhamb act that requires him to balance his body weight,while hanging upside down,on this toe. His never-say-die attitude certainly has won many hearts,the list including the evergreen dancing sensation Jeetendra himself. But this episode also raises a lot of questions,on whether there are enough safety measures on the sets to cushion such dangerous performances.

Itch to perform

RAVI Dubey who playes Ranbir on Zee TVs Ranbir-Rano had to dress in the leather jumpsuit made famous by Elvis Presley for a dance sequence. While the shooting was going great,wearing the skin tight leather outfit in the hot weather turned out to be a bad idea. The long shooting hours and retakes were the last thing Ravi wanted as he started sweating profusely and the outfit gave him rashes all over. Matters didnt improve even after Ravi changed into his normal clothes and he ended up needing medical help to avoid further skin problems. He has now recovered,but that makes us wonder how did Elvis manage?

POPULAR daily Ghar Ek Sapnaa will have more than 25 television popular actors grooving to the tune of blockbuster movie Om Shanti Om. The occasion is the house-warming ceremony in the new house that Rishabh,played by Harsh Chaya,and Cynthia,played by Lataa Saberwal,have just bought. The couple invites all their friends in the TV fraternity who had been their patients before for the ceremony and the grand celebration.

Director Ajai Sinha says,The plot required a grand song and party sequence So we decided to pull it off like Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan did in their title track of Om Shanti Om. To make it more authentic we bought the rights to the soundtrack from T-series.

More than 25 popular TV actors will make an appearance.
