RDPS Pitampura’s student Om Kharola won the Amity Delhi State Under-7 Open Chess Championship by gaining all 5 points. Manpreet Singh and Aakrash Gupta stood second and third. In the recently concluded NSCI Student Chess Championship also,Om got the first position in under – 8 category and he now also tops the U-7 rankings chart.

Yadav hits unbeaten 133

A fine unbeaten knock by Delhi wicketkeeper bestman Rahul Yadav,an all round performance by Deepak sharma (53 no and 3/18) and Abhishek Sharma’s three-wicket haul (3/25) helped Rohtak Road Gymkhana beat Ravindra Academy by a massive 130 run margin. They have now made it to the prequarter final of the 4th Ganga Open Cricket Tournament at Ganga International School,Hiran Kudna.

Harish takes six for Khalsa

A spectacular six-wicket haul (6/21) won Harish Kumar the man of the maych and helped his team Khalsa College beat Sonnet Club by 8 runs. Batting first,Ansul Gupta had scored 60 runs and Mohit Sharma had contributed with 30 runs for Khalsa in the innaugural match of the 9th R.C. Sharma U-25 Cricket Tournament at Bharat Nagar ground.

Nitin Takes Five

A five wicket haul by Nitin Basoya (5/36) and a sedate knock by Shawej Khan (49 not out) helped Rajnigandha Club beat Chand Khanna Club by 7 wickets at the Siri Fort Ground.

A fine all round performance by Varun Sood (36 runs and 4/30),a half century by Delhi Ranji side wicketkeeper batsman Puneet Bisht (57) and contributions from Ajit Ranjan (32) and Manoj Chouhan (3/21) helped KN Colts beat Malik Sports by 7 runs in the 1st Krishan Foundation T20 cricket tournament at Saket Complex. With this win,KN Colts have four points in the tournament.
