Shivank Vashisht scored an fine 68,while Pulkit Narnag scalped five wickets for just 33 runs to lead West Delhi Academy to a comfortable victory over Sonnet Club by 33 runs to enter final of the under-16 Telefunken Cup cricket tournament at the Ashok Vihar grounds.

Dabas hits ton
Siddarth Dabas brought up a fantastic century,while Vinay Loknath took a five-for (five for 14) to post another win for Dwarka Academy. Dwarka beat Tomar Academy by 77 runs in the Radhika Cup under-15 cricket tournament at the Najafgarh grounds mainly due to the efforts of Dabas,who scored more than half his team score.

Collage win
Kamal Beniwal narrowly missed his century and Narender Singh was a wicket away from snaring a five-wicket haul,but their efforts were good enough to help Collage Group beat FCI by 5 wickets and enter the semifinal of the 26 th Laxman Dass Chhabra memorial cricket tournament at the Bharat Nagar grounds. Narender got 4/36,while Kamal was named the Man of the Match for his 82.

Puneet Bisht scalps four
Known mainly for his batting and his wicketkeeping for Delhi,Puneet Bisht picked up four wickets with the ball for Madras Club in the DDCA League on Monday. Apart from registering figures of 4/31,Bisht also scored 65 runs with the bat. He was ably supported by Sahil Kher (77 n.o.),Varun Sood (42 n.o.) who also assisted in the team’s victory over Indian Air Force by 7 wicket to get four points.

In the second match,Mohammad Farman Ahmed picked up five wickets for 27 runs to help Raghubir Willows beat Friends Club by eight wickets.

In the third match,ONGC walloped GG Dutt by 134 runs mainly due to Tanmay Srivastava’s unbeaten 109. In the fifth game,Arjit Gupta missed his century by nine runs,but helped Dena Bank beat Young Cricketers by a massive 131 run scoreline. In the sixth game,Rajesh Sharma scored 85 runs to help his side,Roop Nagar Academy,win by one wicket.
