PT Education,a corporate engaged in training students for various entrance examinations nationwide,celebrated its 16th annual day at PT Seminar Hall recently. The function,titled Karke Dikhayenge,also included scholarships being awarded by Srijan Pal Singh,faculty member,IIM-A. The function also included cultural activity and debate.

CAA announces admissions
Chimes Aviation Academy (CAA),a division of Chimes Aviation Private Ltd,announced the opening of admissions for its next batch of Commercial Pilot License and Private Pilot License courses for August/September 2009 batches. Application forms can be downloaded from http://www.caaindia.com.The last date for submission of the application forms is July 30.

FDDI launches courses
FDDI in association with Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion and Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched a placement linked skill development programme under HRD Mission Scheme of the 11th Five Year Plan for the Indian leather and footwear sector. The courses are: Basic Clicking Operator Course and Basic Stitching Operator Course.

NSUI gets new office bearers
Hibi Eden,national president of NSUI,recently constituted National Executive Committee of NSUI with the approval of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The newly appointed secretaries at the national-level are Ragini Nayak,Anand Pandey,Amrita Dhawan and Shahanawaz.

Session starts at APIM
Asia Pacific Institute of Management (APIM) recently began its new session with an orientation programme where top leaders from the industry participated to give insightful knowledge to the students.

JNU results out
The results of Jawaharlal Nehru University entrance examination for admission to BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages,MA (except Foreign Languages),MSc and MCA programme have been declared and are available on Universitys website: http://www.jnu.ac.in. Last date for admission is August 5.
