Power consumers in North Delhi will soon see a marginal fall in their power bills,while areas catered to by BSES Rajdhani and Yamuna will have to spend more.
Following a directive on Wednesday by power regulator DERC,power tariffs have been revised and increased by 2 per cent for consumers of BSES Yamuna and 1 per cent for those catered to by BSES Rajdhani.
In areas serviced by Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited,the tariff has come down by 1 per cent,giving consumers a relief of around 3 paise per unit. The DERC approved a provisional Fuel Price Adjustment surcharge of 4 per cent for Tata Power,6 per cent for BSES Rajdhani and 7 per cent for BSES Yamuna for January-March 2012,to be applicable from May 1 to July 31.
