And it is this difficult technique that the B-Boys are preparing to teach at a workshop being held at Blue Bells School,starting today. “We are very excited about teaching B-Boying in Delhi,” says 22-year-old Benjamin,whose style is dominated by awesome power moves like air flares and full-body spins. “MJ’s dance style was great to watch. But it hasn’t influenced my style since he was not into B-Boying”,said Benjamin when we ask him about the legend’s contribution to break dance. Gelgado,has a different plan for the workshop. “It’s more concept and innovation,so people can create their own routine instead of just doing steps,” says Gelgado.

Hailing from four different countries,the boys have already performed in Mumbai and will head to Banglore and Goa to perform. “We met on a battleground but over a period of time we have become friends,” says Lilou. But when they find themselves on the dance floor,instinct takes over. Look out for a mix of routine steps and individual skill that defines their performance.
