Barapullah’s second slip road to open in August

The second slip road of the Barapullah elevated road is likely to be opened in the first week of August,PWD officials said. The second ramp will provide another entry point to the elevated road.

“We are hoping to complete the second slip road by the end of July. Most of the work is over,but the black topping needs to be done. We will hopefully finish this in a week. The road will be open to public in the first week of August,” said a PWD official.

The slip road,constructed above Sunehri Nala,will provide access to the elevated road from Lala Lajpat Rai Marg. It was earlier set to be opened by July 15,after missing several deadlines since 2009.
