Aroundtown: Catholics usher in Year of Faith

NEW DELHI: Hundreds of faithful celebrated the golden jubilee of the Second Vatican Council of the Catholic Church in Sacred Heart Cathedral in Delhi. The celebrations began with the inauguration of the Year of Faith declared by Pope Benedict XVI on Thursday. “We thank god for the gift of faith that helps us live our life in peace,despite the difficulties we face in our daily journey of life along with many questions that arise in our minds,” Archbishop Concessao,who led the spiritual celebrations in Delhi,said while addressing gathering.

Tax forms available online for dealers

NEW DELHI: A fully automated service with no human interface was introduced by the Trade and Taxes department on Thursday for online Central Declaration Forms C,F and H on the website http://www.dvat.gov.in. Dealers can now log in to the website with their TIN and password,submit requisition for the forms,and download and print them within minutes.
