3 held for robberies
NEW DELHI: Three men were arrested by the Special Cell for their alleged involvement in highway robberies. The arrested have been identified as Anwar Hussain (23),Shanu (22) and Mohd Nazir (25). The police have recovered stolen goods,which include a truck load of tea approximately worth Rs 50 lakh,auto spare parts,carpets,fabric items,submersible pumps,electronic items,garments and stationery items. One more is on the run.

Man found dead
NEW DELHI: A 38-year-old man was found murdered in Outer Delhi’s Narela area on Monday morning. Police suspect the involvement of a man who visited the victim,Surinder,at his residence the previous evening. DCP (Outer) Chhaya Sharma said,“The victim worked at the Bajaj Pulsar service station in Haryana. His body was found at 6.30 am with a head injury.”
