A 25-year-old Nigerian national,Henrri Chirongi,was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Sunday at his residence in Malviya Nagar. The police said Chirongis neighbours called the police at 4 pm on Sunday. Chirongi stayed in a rented accommodation with a friend. We are looking for his friend, a senior police officer said. The police said Chirongi did not have a visa.

4 members of Maya gang held
Four members of Maya gang,who are believed to be involved in over 35 cases of robbery,burglary and snatching in the Capital,were arrested. The police identified the arrested accused as Puneet (22),Amit (19),Joginder (19) and Gaurav,(19). One lakh cash as sale proceeds from stolen articles,jewellery,two pistols,two knives,two laptops and house breaking equipment have been recovered from their possession, a senior police officer said.

14-year-old girl raped
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Jaitpur village area,Badarpur,Southeast Delhi. The police said the accused is also a minor. A case has been registered.

Paralysed man burnt
A 67-year-old paralysed man was found burnt to death in his house in Khayala,West Delhi,on Sunday morning. His son and wife were not at home on Saturday night. The police said Manmohan Singh was found dead by his son Parvinder after he returned home. His body bore burn injuries all over and it seemed that he could not escape because of his paralysis, a police official said. His family told the police a candle the deceased used during powercuts may have caused the fire.

Woman poisons self,children
A mother poisoned herself and her three children after an altercation with her husband. The police said Krishna (35) consumed poison after giving it to her children Deepshikha (12),Nisha (10) and Aashu (8). They were admitted a hospital,where only Nisha survived.
