Her debut in 2001,the Tamil film Kutty,won filmmaker Janaki Vishwanathan two National Awards — in the Special Jury and Best Child Artist categories. Now,the director is set to make her Bollywood debut with Bakra. A social satire set against the backdrop of rural India,the film dwells upon the relationship between eight-year-old Zulfi Qureshi and his pet goat,Abu. The film has actor Anshuman Jha of Love,Sex Aur Dhokha fame in a key role.
