7-year-old raped by two for over five hours

“Her parents were not at home when the two men went there and offered the girl a drink laced with sedatives. Once she was unconscious,they took her with them and raped her for over five hours. Medical examination has confirmed rape,and revealed that she was beaten up as well,” a police officer said.

The accused were spotted by the villagers as they were taking the girl back to her house.

“They informed her parents,who rescued the girl,” the officer said.

Police said the villagers caught one of the accused and beat him up.

“One of the accused fled when he saw the mob approaching. The other was caught and beaten up. Police teams reached the spot,but he managed to flee in the melee,” the officer said.

A case has been registered and efforts are on to trace the accused,police said.
