PREITY Zinta marked her return to the glamour world with a rather low-profile show,Guiness World RecordsAb India Todega. But now,with her first home production underway,the bubbly actress has turned chat show host for UTV Stars. The show,titled Up,Close & Personal With Preity Zinta went on the floors recently with Akshay Kumar and Farhan Akhtar among her first few guests. The show will feature most of the actress close friends from the industry and is supposed to have an informal and fun conversational format. Zinta will sport a glamorous look,designed by her other close friend,designer Surily Goel.

AFTER the success of Tanu Weds Manu,R Madhavan isnt shying away from unusual pairings. In his next film,Shaadi Fast Forward,the actor has been paired opposite Bipasha Basu. Being directed by Ashwini Choudhary,the film also has Madhavans colleague from 3 Idiots,Omi Vaidya,in the cast. The film will be shot in Greece. Sounds like fun,but we hope Maddy doesnt get stuck on romantic comedies revolving around marriage.

A FEW years ago,A R Rahman,with his rendition of Vande Mataram,changed the way the youth connected with the national song. In a similar attempt,the latest track to come out of Rahmans collaboration with Mick Jagger,Dave Stewart,Joss Stone and Damien Marley,Satyameva Jayathe,released earlier this week. The song,which is already causing a stir,is the band SuperHeavys second track after Miracle Worker. The biggest draw,however,remains Jagger crooning alongside in Sanskrit.
