Vij alleges land grab,seeks CBI probe

Haryana BJP legislature party leader Anil Vij has demanded a CBI inquiry into an alleged land grab in Palika Colony,Ambala Cantonment,by an influential Congress leader.

Vij claimed that a palatial building was being constructed on the land measuring over 1,000 square yards. He further alleged that the construction work started surreptitiously in connivance with Municipal Corporation officials residing in the Palika colony. He added that municipal corporation officials and building inspectors,engineers and others living in the colony,ignored to take notice of th” “unauthorised grabbing of government la”d”.

Sources said that the mater was brought to the notice of higher authorities of the MC following which the concerned officials had issued a notice to the alleged land grabber on Friday. The concerned officials visited the site and stopped construction work although most of the work had been completed.
