Chandigarh:All OPDs in PGI shall remain closed on October 2,on account of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. Emergency services will function as usual.

Seniors spend Elders’ Day with blind children

Chandigarh:About 150 members of the Senior Citizens Association,Manimajra,spent the day with children of the Institute of Blindon Friday to celebrate World Elders’ Day. The children and the elders participated in an hour-long cultural program,with performances by Sufi singer Balbir Sufi. The association also distributed sweets and gifts amongst the children.
