Day 3: Just 167 of 1,207 BCom seats remain vacant

CHANDIGARH: Heavy rush outside Panjab University (PU) law auditorium on Saturday marked the beginning of day three of admissions to Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). Only 167 seats out of 1,207 seats under the 85 per cent UT pool quota remained vacant in three city-based colleges of the 11 PU colleges.

LCD monitors,sanitary ware stolen

PANCHKULA: Unidentified men allegedly struck at a government college in Sector 1 on Friday night and decamped with LCD monitors,CPU and sanitary ware. Sources said that the miscreants broke open the lock of the computer lab and stole LCD monitors.
