The UT Administrations health department will start a free institutional delivery scheme from next month,wherein irrespective of income,mothers would be able to deliver their babies for free at all government health institutions,including hospitals,polyclinics and dispensaries. Following a meeting in New Delhi yesterday,Rs 1 crore has been granted to the Administration to start the free institutional delivery system. As per the scheme,pregnant women would also receive free transport from their homes to the hospital. P 3

Power cuts today in Sectors 17,21

Electricity supply will remain suspended in parts of Sector 17 from 6 am to 6 pm,Industrial Area Phase II from 9 am to 5 pm and parts of Sector 21 from 10 am to 3 pm.
