Tejas anchors Greenfield win

Buoyed by a gutsy knock of 51 runs by Tejas,Greenfield Cricket Academy scored a comprehensive nine-wicket win over DAV Public School,Sector 8 in a league match of St Soldier’s Trophy played on Wednesday.

Batting first,DAV Public School,Sector 8,were bundled out for a mediocre total of 113 runs in 19 overs. Raman Bishnoi (29) was the top scorer for the team. For Greenfield Cricket Academy,Vikram claimed two wickets for 11 runs,while Rishabh Sharma picked up two wickets for 28 runs.

In reply,DAV Public School,Sector 8,chased the target for the loss of one wicket in 11.5 overs. Tejas played a fine knock of 51 runs,while Vikram added 33 runs to the team’s total score.
