Making dressing up in this sultry weather worth it is the all-new summer line-up of designer label Tatva.

Making dressing up in this sultry weather worth it is the all-new summer line-up of designer label Tatva. The designer team comprising the brother-sister duo of Shivani and Sameer Mahajan have put “happy” colours like watermelon red, candy pink, mint green to full use, discarding heavy fabrics for the breezier chiffons,mul-muls,and cotton silks. “The focus has been on fuss-free lines to give an overall minimalist look,” explains Shivani, who rolled out the new collection at their studio in Sector 17. While the casual range brings in sarees in digital prints as well as hand-painted ones, there are also kurtis and tunics in textured cottons, linen and pure chiffons, besides kaftans. The heavier range includes fusion sarees, besides suits in Angrakha styles with different embellishments.”Weddings are fast becoming year round affairs and our formal range is targeted at trousseau wear,” mentions Shivani. The launch also co-incided with the celebration of the first anniversary of their studio, for which the two are offering special discounts, beginning April 23.
