Do you enjoy taking risks and fighting danger?
I like to do things that have not been done before by others. One has to take risks to succeed. I did Aitraaz very early in my career,when people told me I was taking a risk by doing a negative role. When I acted in Fashion I was told women-oriented films don’t work. All risks have paid off.

Being the ringmaster for the 13 male contestants will be quite a challenge.
It will be good fun. I am quite adventurous. Being the female ringmaster will be lot of fun. I have this whistle with me to keep them under control.

Will you be doing stunts as well?
Yes. I will be doing a few stunts as well. But my advantage is that I choose the stunts that I will do. The contestants will have to do them all.

Is there something that you fear the most?
Everyone has some kind of fear. I am most scared of failure. Whatever task one takes up in life,it is important that you do it successfully. I am also a little scared of spiders.

What was the first stunt you ever did in your life?
I think it was for Don. I had to ride a dirt bike and jump over a couple of cars. I trained to ride it. In fact it really came in handy when I was shooting on a dirt bike for the KKK promos.

What was your family’s reaction to your hosting the show?
My brother is very excited. But my parents are naturally a bit worried. My mother is coming with me to Brazil. She is going to be praying with a rosary in her hand.

Are there any reality shows you like watching?
Well I like Bigg Boss but I don’t get the time to regularly watch it. Besides,I liked Kaun Banega Crorepati a lot.

Are you bogged down by the expectations set by Akshay Kumar on this show?
It has actually helped my show. It will start at a high level. I don’t have to really start from scratch.

But comparisons between the two hosts will be inevitable.
But there shouldn’t be any comparison. When it comes to action he is the best. I won’t take the same approach as he did. I have tried out something different for my show.

Is there a quality in Akshay as a host that you really admire and would like to carry forward.
Akshay was a fantastic host. But what I liked most about him was that he held the contestants hands and motivated them whenever they felt scared or at a loss. He did that with me too when I started off my career. Be it in Andaaz or Aitraaz he was always there to guide me.
