The National Integration Tour referred to as Sadhbhawna Tour was flagged off on September 15 from Srinagar and reached Chandigarh on Monday. The tour,under the aegis of 2 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion,aims to showcase the rest of India on aspects of cultural diversity,co-existence,infrastructure,growth and opportunities for personal growth of the local youth in Jammu and Kashmir.
The present tour comprises two teachers and 15 students,between the age groups of 14-16 years,from Srinagar,Bandipore,Gulmarg and Budgam districts.
The group will be in Chandigarh till September 21 and will visit the Terminal Ballistic Research Lab (TBRL),Govt College of Arts,Govt Museum and Art Gallery,Rock Garden,Chatbir Zoo,Rose Garden and the International Dolls museum.
The group will leave for Dehradun on September 22,where the group members will visit Indian Military Academy,Forest research Institute,Instrumentation Research and Development Establishment,Mussoorie and Sahastradhara before heading back to Srinagar on September 28.
