Building Bricks

Gabi Schillig and Masooma Syed,a German and a Pakistani artist respectively,explore the relationship between material and space at an exhibition,Intimate Architectures: Materials at Play. Schillig has worked with pieces of chanderi,and Syed with amulets,medicine tablets and bottle caps among others. Raza Revisited

SH Raza opens the Festival of the Arts with an exhibition of reproductions on paper and canvas. The festival will also include Bangladesh-based Shadhona’s dance drama,Hey Ananta Punya,and a concert of traditional musical instruments by the Ethiopian Cultural Association.
