Air Force School,Ambala claims football title
Air Force School,Ambala won the Western Air Command Inter-Air Force School Football Championship with a 3-0 win over Air Force School,Palam in the final held at Air Force Station,Chandigarh. The championship saw the participation of seven teams from Air Force schools from Chandigarh,Palam,Hindan,Ambala,Sarsawa,Pathankot and Jammu.

SGGS College wins swimming championship
SGGS College,Chandigarh claimed the Panjab University Inter-College Swimming (Men) Championship with 94 points on the concluding day of the championship. Panjab university Campus,Chandigarh claimed the second spot with 89 points while the third spot was claimed by SD College,Ludhiana with 25 points. MCM DAV College for Women,Chandigarh won the Panjab University Inter-College Swimming Championship (Women) with 80 points. The second spot was claimed by KLSD College,Ludhiana with 39 points while the third spot was claimed by Panjab University Campus with 26 points.

88 golfers to take part in tourney
88 young golfers from Punjab,Himachal,Haryana and Chandigarh will participate in the Second CGA Junior Golf Tournament to be conducted at Panchkula Golf Club from August 7. The tw0-day tournament will be played on stroke-play format and it will be played in five categories. There will be separate prizes for girls and boys and CGA has created a separate section on its website for the draw,results and merit list of the tournament.

Golf camp from August 12
A two-month long junior golf camp will be held at Chandigarh Golf Club from August 12 for youngsters aged between 6-17 years including members and non-members. The camp will be conducted by Manjit Kochar,overseas director,junior golf development programme,ICGA,Canada. All the youngsters will be taught basic fundamentals during the camp. National Trampoline Gymnastics from today
The Sixth National Trampoline Tumbling Gymnastics Championship to be held at Sacred Souls’ School,Gharuan,District Mohali from August 6 to 8. Fourteen states have already arrived for the championship and more teams are expected to reach. International standard equipment from NIS,Patiala and ITBP Chandigarh has reached the school.
