Seniors’ day out

To mark the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti today,Taj Chandigarh is set to roll out special lunch deals for senior citizens at their fine dining restaurant Dera. “We will offer a discount that’s equivalent to the age of the person on the Table d’hote ( set menu) and a la carte menus,” informed Taj’s sales manager Sandeep Makroo. The restaurant has designed special non-vegetarian and vegetarian menus keeping in mind the health,diet and taste preferences of senior citizens. A pick-up and drop facility is also available on request. The Table d’hote menu is priced at Rs 1,000 (excluding tax) per person.
