SCO 53-55 reopened

The offices in SCO 53-55 in Sector 17 that were sealed on Saturday have been reopened on Monday after a delegation met the Deputy Commissioner Mohd Shayin.

Most of the offices in the building had been sealed except for the offices of the Punjab government that were present here. A delegation comprising area councillor Pardeep Chhabra, president of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal Charanjeev Singh along with the occupants met the Deputy Commissioner.

The occupants of the building apprised him that they had already rectified the major violations that were present. The next date of hearing in the case is July 16. However, the offices were sealed before that.

Estate Office officials inspected the building. Following this it was re-opened.
