With the deadline coming up for replying to the party high command,the Congress leaders who were served notices following a low turnout at a rally in Jalandhar on November 3 have been busy collecting evidence in favour of them. According to a report,only 7,500 Congress workers had participated in the rally. Following this,around 15 leaders have faced the ire of PPCC. They were supposed file their replies by November 12. In their reports,some leaders have mentioned that though they had brought a large number of workers with them,they were stopped on the way by the police. The leaders have attached photographs of them along with their supporters before they went to the rally venue at Burton Park.
