(X)The Punjab Police said Monday they have busted an “organised criminal module” by arresting three members of Manjeet Mahal’s gang and claimed they have confessed to planning to “execute sensational crimes” in the state at the orders of their leader.
The Punjab’s Anti-Gangster Task Force arrested the three criminals in a joint operation with the Mohali police, said Gaurav Yadav, Director General of Police. Yadav said the arrested men have a criminal history with several cases registered against them in Haryana and Delhi. “Preliminary interrogation of accused revealed that the accused were planning to execute sensational crimes in the state on the directions of their handler Manjit Mahal,” Yadav said in a post on X.
In a major breakthrough, Anti Gangster Task Force, Punjab (#AGTF), in a joint operation with SAS Nagar Police, busts an organised criminal module handled by Manjeet Mahal, presently lodged in Tihar Jail, with the arrest of his three operatives.

Mahal is presently lodged in Tihar Jail in Delhi.
