Mumbai and movies have kept her away, but Sen Sharma says she has been itching to make a comeback on stage for a while now. “I found the subject of the play very intriguing—the way our memories work—the things we remember or forget, and how it influences our lives,” quips the actor. Sen Sharma was also in the company of friends for the play. “Atul Kumar, the director,Rajat Kapoor,Vinay Pathak,Ranvir Shorey are all friends and I know their work. So I was pleased to participate,’’ adds the actor. In the play Sen Sharma plays the role of a doctor, who’s treating a patient who has lost his memory. She says it was both challenging and engrossing. “It’s a small part, but powerful enough. I had imagined that coming back to stage would be difficult, but it wasn’t. Post her stage outing,it’s back to Bollywood but. Sen Sharma is looking forward to three releases this year— Rituparno Ghosh’s comedy Sunglass,Vinay Shukla’s Mirch and Aparna Sen’s Iti Mrinalini.
