RESIDENTS HIGHLIGHT SECURITY CONCERNS
Residents of Panchkula have highlighted the grave concerns regarding the safety of people on the road.
“The law and order situation in Panchkula is becoming quite out of control. The incidents are being reported in broad day-light, so where is the safety of the citizens? There is a major shortage of staff in the Panchkula police and we urge the government to provide required force to the police, so that crime can be brought under control,” said S K Nayyar, President, Citizen Welfare Association.
“One more resident became victim to robbery this week. Will the Panchkula police be able to bring some difference by curbing crime in the town? Will the Municipal Corporation start putting up CCTV cameras?,” said Rakesh Aggarwal, resident of Sector 12.
