Now advocate turn to lose Rs 17,500 from her bank account

In yet another incident over the last fortnight,an advocate reported the loss of Rs 17,500 from her bank account with the State Bank of Patiala on Wednesday.

Nancy Sagwan,a resident of Sector 38,is left with no money in her account after the entire amount was withdrawn in two instalments in Gwalior on September 3. “When I went to withdraw money from my ATM yesterday,it showed me the message that there was no money in my account. I was shocked as only two days ago I had deposited money. I went to four different ATMs and finally approached the bank which told me that the money was taken out at an ATM in Gwalior,” she said.

She added that she did not use her card for shopping or making payments and used the card last time for a withdrawal around 10 days ago.

A case has been registered with the Sector 39 police station.
