Dr Sukhdip Singh Boparai wields the scalpel and the guitar with equal elan,and a day full of surgeries often ends in a session with strings. The eye surgeon from Patiala,who is also adept at the keyboard,has released two albums and is now ready with his third. Called Emotions-3,it boasts hit Hindi instrumentals from the 1970s and 80s. He says,Old songs have always enchanted me. Unlike present-day music,these hits retain their charm after several decades.

Boparai,who has been playing music since he was at the Yadavindra Public School in Patiala, says the new album will be an instrumental rendition of Dum maro dum,Ek hasina thi and Badan pe sitare. His first album,Emotions -1 was released in 2005,followed by Emotions-2 in 2007.
