Three students of Mohali scored a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of ten in the Class X annual examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),the result of which was declared on Friday. Alisha Mahajan and Sahib Singh Multani from Gian Jyoti Public School,Phase II,and Subhjeet Kaur of DAV Public Senior Secondary School,Phase X,excelled with A1 grade in all five subjects of English,Hindi,Mathematics,Science and Social Studies. In Gian Jyoti Public School,16 students got a CGPA above 9 whereas 30 students fell in the bracket of above 8,said principal Ranjeet Bedi. Manisha Jandoria and Vishal Verma scored a CGPA of 9.8. In DAV Public Senior Secondary School,of the total 49 students,five crossed the average of above nine,while 11 scored between eight and nine while 19 managed above seven points,said principal Rosy Sharma. Nafeesa Jameel and Sahil Madaan scored the highest CGPA of 9.8 at Shivalik Public School,Phase VI,while three students got 9.6 and 13 children managed a score between nine and 9.4. Navya Garg,Bhavneet Kaur,Aditi,Karan Rana,Mohit Gautam and Atesh Bansal of Lawerance Public Senior Secondary School scored a CGPA of 9.8 while five students scored a CGPA of 9.6. In Golden Bells School,two students got a CGPA between nine and ten while 11 secured a decent score between eight and nine. Guntajdeep Singh was the topper with a CGPA 9.8 at St Soldier International Convent School while Manpreet Kaur Khokhar and Rajat Kambhoj scored a whopping 9.6. In Swami Ram Tirtha Public School,Rupinder Kaur was the highest scorer among 23 students with a CGPA of 9.6. Vanya topped Shemrock Senior Secondary School with an impressive score of 9.8.
