Frankfinn is set to take to the skies, literally
If you are an English movie buff or have travelled extensively around the world, then chances are that you have already spotted this – a low-flying plane with a banner tailing it. In the movies, its always a Will you marry me? but in reality its a popular form of advertising thats now reached the region. With a Chandigarh-based firm Aerial Advertising Pvt Ltd rolling out Sky Ads option, the first to sign up has been the Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training. It only seems apt since we are already in the business of aviation and hospitality, mentioned Frankfinns vice-president Samir Walia who announced the aerial advertising campaign this Friday in the city. We have a list of firsts to our credit – be it the mention in the Limca Book of Records 2009 for rolling out a record number of air hostess and flight stewards to our training sessions in-flight. Keeping with our spirit of flying high we thought of reaching out to a wider audience through this unique way, added Walia.
Steered by Capt Sukhvinder Dhillon of Sky Ads who has got clearances from Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for this initiative, the Frankfinn banner will fly high not just in Chandigarh but in other cities of Punjab as well. We have on board a Piper aircraft and the pilot has been trained in Australia for the same. This field of work requires expertise and skill, informed Aman Dhillon, also a company representative, headquarted in Chandigarh, We had been planning for almost three years to get it all in place. While aerial advertising is very popular in the West,in India this is a one of a kind initiative, he added. As for the Frankfinn group, the skys not the limit anymore!
