A corel workshop draws design in detail
True worth of a software is realised only when it’s put to use over time and Corel with more than 100 million active users of CorelDraw and various other designing softwares in over 75 countries has proved itself,” says Sathish Venugopal,Territory Manager of Corel,as he takes seat at Government Museum and Art Gallery for a Corel Design Show and announces its tie-up with Pastel IP,a graphic designing and multimedia content production training institute. Been around for a long while,”the increased demand of the designing softwares, specially for publishing, printing and broadcast in city prompted us to come here and address the local community of commercial and web designers, artists and advertising agency executives,” he tells us showcasing some of the work being done world wide using the Corel softwares like Corel Draw,Graphics Suite,Corel Painter,Corel Designer Technical Suite,Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo,VideoStudio,WinDVD,Corel WordPerfect Office and WinZip.
“In India Coral Draw is particularly popular. This, because the people here have a creative bent of mind,” chips in Munish Gaur, application engineer with Aditya Infotech Ltd,Bangalore,as he talks about the course content that would help students acquire Corel Certified Professional status. Munish also talks about three designing products they are now reworking on — graphic, productivity and digital media. “With X4 version of CorelDraw launched about one and a half year back, newer versions of other designing softwares too will come which will be designed taking into consideration the consumer feedback,” he says. Till then!
