Kapoor claims sub-junior title

It was Rishab,who had the first edge in the match as he took a break of 16 points to take the first frame with a margin of 63-13 to make a 1-0 lead.

But Kapoor regrouped his energies and came back strongly in the second frame and potted blue and pink balls to take the frame with a margin of 51-38 to be in contention in the match. In the third and final frame,both the players lost some easy pickings and in the end,it was Ankit who kept his cool and claimed the third frame. Kapoor won the third frame with a margin of 38-15 as he potted the black ball.

In the junior snooker category,Rishab Gupta showed his class to end the challenge of Ajay Jadeja with a 2-1 (25-58,90-55,43-35). Gupta lost the first frame with a margin of 25-58 before winning the second frame with a frame 90-55. Gupta then claimed the third frame with a margin of 43-35.

In the other semi-final,Ajay Jain outclassed Ish Kaushik in straight frames 2-0 (60-25,80-30). Jain claimed the first frame with a margin of 60-25 before claiming the second set with a margin of 80-30.

In the senior snooker category,Amit Verma outclassed Rahul Singla with 3-0 (65-15,57-39,77-23). Amit Verma was in control of his game from the very first frame and played well. He came up with small breaks of 18,21 and 19 in the frames and won easily against his opponent. Verma won the first frame with a 65-15 margin before winning the second and third.
