Indu Ranchan’s fifth book released

Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Monday released Indu Ranchan’s new Hindi book on short stories — Bindas Bandar Aur Baatoni Baraat. Ranchan,a retired English teacher said the book was for children and contains 10 stories with illustrations.

Dhumal said there are few good literature books in the market to cater to the needs of the children.

This is Ranchan’s fifth book and the first in Hindi.

When asked about her writing in Hindi,Ranchan said,“It just happened,may be because I am used to story telling at home in Hindi. In my childhood,I would entertain my brothers and sisters telling them stories. Then it was my children and now my grandchildren.”
