Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari was in Jalandhar on Sunday to participate in the Shaheed Parivar Fund function where help was provided to families affected by terrorism.
Addressing the gathering,Ansari said those who had deviated from the mainstream and joined terrorists must realise that not only they were targeting the innocents but also damaging their own state. He said continuous rehabilitation of terror affected persons and spread of anti-terror ideology across the masses would help control terrorism. He said solution to every problem lay within the Indian Constitution. Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said terrorism had affected the state for many years but the state would not allow it to revive. Himachal Pradesh CM Prem Kumar Dhumal was also present.
