A couple of years back,Iris Maity was working in her corporate office,till one day she paused and took stock. “My heart strings were pulling me somewhere else,” she says,talking of her decision to create a portfolio and go ahead for modeling. After strutting the ramp for various fashion weeks,Maity came across aspiring writer,director and actor Sartaj Singh Pannu and liked his script. “The story had nothing in common with Bollywood,” says Maity who signed up for Pannu’s Soch Lo. “A degree is never a waste,” she says as “it always comes in handy. I entered this industry as a rookie. But rebel and risk go hand in hand. Plus,I am hardworking,” she signs off.
