Shiv Kumar and Monu Dhiman will lead Chandigarh men and women teams,respectively,in the 55th Senior Ball Badminton Championship to be held at Nandyal,Karnul District (Andhra Pradesh) from May 2 to 6. According to Inderjit Singh Puri,secretary,Chandigarh Ball Badminton Association,the final team selected during the coaching camp are:

Teams: Men: Shiv Kumar (captain),Manish,Shubham,Manpreet,Sushant,Dinkar,Simardeep Singh,Rajan Negi,Sunny,Baljeet Singh

Women: Monu Dhiman (captain),Nitika,Sobha,Deepika,Samriti,Deepshika, Anuradha,Parul,Sangeeta and Ipsa. Coach: Surinder Thakur; Manager: Jaswinder Kaur.

Netball trials on April 29
Netball Association of Chandigarh (Affiliated to Netball Federation of India) will conduct trials to select Chandigarh boys and girls teams that will take part in the upcoming 26th sub-junior National netball Championship to be held at Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh from May 24. Trials will take place at Government Model High School Sector 28/D in Chandigarh on April 29 at 5.00 pm. According to R. Sharan,general secretary,Netball Association of Chandigarh,players born on or after 1.1.94 are eligible to take part in the trials.
