Dhumal criticises fuel price hike by UPA
Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal has hit out at the Central government for increasing prices of petroleum products and LPG cylinders. The CM has sought immediate reversal of the decision and said hike in fuel prices will have an adverse impact on the common man and put them in financial hardships.
He said the increase in petrol price will directly affect consumers and result in increase in prices of all commodities including essential commodities, which is already at its peak. The hike in prices of kerosene oil and LPG cylinders was exorbitant and all these things would go out of reach of the common man. The first impact of the decision would be on increase in prices of essential commodities. The UPA governments decision to declare the fuel prices market driven and have little control on them would have exponential rise in prices in future, said Dhumal.
